Deadlines

We are pleased to inform you that due to numerous requests the deadline for update and upload of submitted papers has been extended till Friday, February 19, 2010 (23:59 CET).

Also the deadline for new submissions of preliminary FULL PAPER has been extended till Thursday, February 18, 2010 (23:59 CET).

Please take into account that we work to a tight submission reviewing schedule and therefore these deadlines are hard and will not be extend more.

    Papers Submission

    Please register and login to EMC EUROPE 2010 on-line confrence system to submit preliminary (draft) paper and its final version as well as access the results of the review process of submitted papers.

    Accepted paper can be present during EMC Europe 2010 in Wroclaw only if author of the paper will submit the final paper and the author or at least one of the co-authors will pay the conference fee.


    EMC EUROPE 2010 on-line conference system (registration and papers submission)



    Initial submission

    Prospective authors are invited to submit their preliminary (draft) full papers for review not later than February 16 (23:59 CET), 2010 (extended deadline)) using EMC EUROPE 2010 on-line confrence system. Only full-text papers of length from 4 to 6 pages (including figures, tables, photos and references) are expected as initial submissions. Papers have to be written in English and conform conference topics. Excess pages above 6 will be charged at 100 Euro per page .
    Preliminary papers must be electronic in PDF (Portable Document Format) format only and must follow the two-column A4 format of a IEEE Manuscript Template for Conference Proceedings. Any formats other than PDF as well as hardcopies, abstracts and summaries will not . will not be accepted and considered for review.

    The IEEE Manuscript Template for Conference Proceedings, also for LaTeX users, are available at IEEE eXpress page .

    Note that templates and instructions are the same for both initial and final submission.

    For the PDF conversions, you can either use Acrobat Distiller or the Adobe PDF Printer from Adobe Acrobat. Alternatively, you can download through a link that follows a free lightweight conversion tool - PrimoPDF

    To get IEEE compliant PDF document, please use the latest version of conversion tools to avoid fonts problems etc.



    Final submission

    Notification of acceptance will be send to the authors by April 19, 2010, and the authors of the accepted papers will be asked to submit the final, camera-ready versions of their papers not later than 14 June 2010. Please use your account in EMC EUROPE 2010 on-line confrence system to submit final paper.

    Final papers must have the total length of exactly 4 or 6 full pages including figures, tables, photos and references (note the difference between requirements for a preliminary paper and the final version of the accepted paper!). The paper templates and detailed typesetting instructions for final papers are the same as for preliminary papers.

    As already mentioned, final paper submissions are expected not later than 14 June 2010. Please take into account that we work to a tight submission reviewing schedule and production schedule of the Symposium Proceedings and therefore deadline is hard and does not subject to negotiations. Advance registration (with the registration fee paid) of the author of the paper or at least one of the co-authors is required with final submission. Papers without accompanying author(s) registration will not be processed.



    Evaluating criteria

    The preliminary paper submissions will be reviewed by Program Committee members and appointed referees. They will be asked to evaluate and score your paper according to the following major criteria:
    Originality Does the paper record original work and contributes to scientific and/or technical aspects of EMC? Is the work scientifically rigorous, accurate and novel?
    Significance Does the work have sound motivation? Does the paper contain significant additional material to that already published? How big of an impact the work can have?
    Presentation How well does the paper flow? Is the paper well organized and presents in clear and unambiguous language what has been done and why, and explains/demonstrates the value of the work?
    Relevance Does the paper present results or development of direct technical or scientific interest to the EMC community? Is the material appropriate to the scope of the Symposium?



    Step by Step procedure for Authors

    Please follow these steps If you are wishing to present a paper during EMC EUROPE 2010 in Wroclaw:
    1. Click the link to the EMC EUROPE 2010 on-line confrence system - the electronic conference management and submission system
    2. Register as a User of the management system
    3. Upload trough the EMC EUROPE 2010 on-line confrence system your preliminary (draft) paper (or papers) and assign conference topics to your paper
    4. Wait for paper acceptance or not
    5. Register as a Participant with EMC EUROPE 2010 on-line confrence system
    6. Pay your fees
    7. Print out your automatic Confirmation Letter / Invoice from the EMC EUROPE 2010 on-line confrence system . You may use this for the Polish Embassy for a Visa, and for other purposes.
    8. Upload your presentation trough the EMC EUROPE 2010 on-line confrence system



    VISA / Invitation Letter

    The symposium participants who need any kind of official confirmation in order to get visa or to simplify all the formalities in diplomatic institutions or travel agencies should contact organizers.

    Within the European Union's borders, visas are not required

    Nationals of the following countries don't require a visa for tourism and short business trips to Poland: Citizens of Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein, Switzerland

    Visa is not required for short stays in Polnad by citizens of: Albania, Andorra, Argentina, Australia, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Croatia, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, Hong Kong, Israel , Korea, Mauritius, Mexico, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Morocco, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Salvador, San Marino, Serbia, Singapore, Philippines, Turkey, Eastern Uruguay, United States of America, Holy See, Venezuela
